Amal Foundation seeks to empower vulnerable communities in Bangladesh through integrated solutions in education, healthcare, climate resilience, and economic development, ensuring inclusivity, sustainability, and resilience. With a name derived from the Arabic word for hope, we aimed to be a guiding light for Bangladesh’s underprivileged communities. From remote riverine islands to Rohingya refugee camps, our projects are a testament to compassion, creating a fabric of empowerment and resilience.
Education is at the core of what Amal Foundation does. They strongly believe in education as a liberating force, breaking the chains of poverty. Amid life’s unpredictable symphony, Amal Foundation stands as an emergency pillar and has provided relief to more than 2.1M people in distress. Amal Foundation has empowered more than 45,000 underprivileged women and youth weaving their dreams into every creation through different skill development trainings. In their health efforts, Amal has reached over 121,000 people through numerous health camps. Lastly, their commitment to the environment is a dialogue with nature—a vow to protect and nurture. It’s not just about planting trees or plastic pollution or climate change; it’s cultivating guardianship for our shared home, ensuring our actions leave a legacy of sustainability.
