Bread for the City, a WomenStrong founding partner, helps low-income Washington, DC, residents develop their power to determine their own future and that of their families and communities. Bread for the City provides food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services to reduce the burden of poverty, seek justice through community organizing and public advocacy, and uproot racism, a major cause of poverty.
