Amy Gregowski
Amy Gregowski serves as Director of Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation at WomenStrong International. Amy has more than 20 years’ experience designing, implementing, and evaluating social and behavior change programs. She has applied her knowledge and skills to a wide range of women’s health topics and to programs focusing on the structural drivers of socioeconomic and health vulnerability, including alcohol and drug abuse, reproductive justice, violence against women, and stigma and discrimination.
Most recently, Amy led research projects at the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) on topics ranging from adolescent sexual and reproductive health to women’s economic empowerment. Previously, Amy worked as the Deputy Director of Evidence for Implementation at PSI, overseeing and supporting regional research advisors and health area researchers on activities related to designing, monitoring and evaluating PSI programs. She also worked as the regional researcher for Asia & Eastern Europe and as a Research Officer at PATH, and a Research Associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she provided research technical support on two National Institutes of Health funded projects.
Amy holds a master’s of health science degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She is passionate about participatory approaches to data collection and use, data use for decision-making, and designing solutions together with program beneficiaries. She has lived in Namibia and Thailand, and has experience working in over twenty countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia.
