How Capacity Strengthening Works
at WomenStrong
Our approach to capacity and organizational strengthening is collaborative and focuses on our partners’ own identified needs. Each partner is asked what they want and need, in order to improve their organizational resiliency and achieve their strategic goals.
Individual action plans act as road maps for partners, guiding them toward success in meeting their organizational priorities. We reflect on the ways we can help them meet those needs, whether through our Learning Lab or with one-on-one technical assistance. Everything, from priorities to milestones and resources to timing, is jointly identified, articulated, and assessed.
We meet with partners regularly to check in on their progress toward their defined milestones and goals. Of course, we understand that priorities and circumstances change! We make sure that there is ongoing open communication with partners, and we strive to provide relevant ongoing support.
